We are currently seeking an Office Manager & Functional Exercise Specialist for our growing medical practice in San Diego County. This is a Monday-Friday, 8-5 PM position. Hourly compensation is based on experience and includes a monthly performance bonus. We are ready to start the right candidate immediately. Job Requirements (Please do not apply if these do not pertain to you): • Candidate should possess a minimum of 6 months’ experience working in a medical office environment: multi-line phones, payment processing, knowledge of insurance benefits claims and authorizations procedures to assist patients/clinicians with billing and claims questions. • Must be capable of delivering the utmost in customer service; friendly, inviting and positive outlook and demeanor required. • Experience working within the Physical Therapy community a plus. • Proven ability to work with minimal supervision, multi-task and stay organized. Must be detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy, despite frequent interruptions. • Able to effectively communicate as part of a team. This position will split time serving as both a Front Desk Manager and Functional Exercise Specialist, who also serve as liaisons between clinical director, clinicians, support staff and patients. It is crucial you are able to work with numerous disciplines and personalities. • Hands-on experience working with Patient Scheduling and Electronic Health Records software a plus. • Competency using Word, Excel, e-mail, and understand medical office filing systems. • Exercise knowledge is a plus! • ATC Certification or Degree is a plus!
